Results
• Our proposal was shortlisted, standing out among dozens for its strategic clarity and creative strength
Despite its prestige and cutting-edge innovation, the aerospace industry is grappling with a significant workforce shortfall — with over 9,000 vacancies and traditional recruitment methods failing to attract talent beyond those already in the sector. This campaign set out to challenge the perception of aerospace as distant or inaccessible, reframing it as a vital and integrated part of everyday life. From GPS and logistics to medical advancements and weather forecasting, aerospace touches more than we think. It just needed to be seen differently.
Our campaign, built around the bold proposition “Don’t Just Look Up”, aimed to make aerospace feel real, relevant and within reach for a new generation of talent. We crafted a narrative that positioned the sector not just as a dream job, but a space for purpose-driven careers that shape how we live, move and connect.
As the Creative Project Manager, I led the end-to-end delivery of the campaign pitch — from reviewing and structuring the proposal to overseeing submission under tight deadlines. I was the strategic glue across the team, responsible for building timelines, ensuring deliverables were met, and maintaining cohesion across all proposal elements. In addition to managing individuals and deliverables, I provided strategic oversight to ensure the pitch not only met the brief but delivered a resonant, future-forward solution.
The Challenge
One of the biggest challenges during the pitch was managing internal resource gaps due to team absences. With key contributors unavailable at critical moments, I had to step beyond my core role — taking on additional responsibilities to keep momentum and quality high. This included filling in where work was delayed or incomplete, driving forward key sections, and ensuring that all elements came together as a clear, compelling, and credible pitch story. It required flexibility, quick thinking, and a deep understanding of both the strategy and creative to keep everything aligned and on track.
