In just eight days, I successfully organised and delivered the high-profile launch event for the Britain Remade Powerbook — a bold policy roadmap developed in partnership with Octopus Energy, outlining 25 actionable recommendations to help the UK achieve energy independence by 2030.
Held in London, the launch brought together leading voices across politics, media, and industry — including Greg Jackson (CEO, Octopus Energy) and Ed Miliband (Shadow Secretary of State for Climate and Net Zero) — creating a platform that not only amplified Britain Remade’s policy agenda but cemented its reputation as a serious, solutions-focused movement in the UK’s energy and infrastructure debate.
As the event lead, I managed the end-to-end execution, overseeing everything from logistics and speaker coordination to creative production and audience experience. Working under a tight timeline, I delivered against client expectations and strategic visibility — ensuring every detail aligned with the broader campaign goals.
My focus was on creating an event experience that would galvanise public interest, media attention, and political momentum, with a sharp emphasis on clarity, impact, and accessibility. From branded assets to technical production and press engagement, I ensured every touchpoint reinforced the Powerbook’s pragmatic, optimistic tone.
The Challenge
The event had to be planned, organised, and delivered in just eight days — a tight timeline that required fast decision-making, focused execution, and zero room for error. Every detail — from venue coordination and speaker logistics to content development and guest communications — had to be managed at speed, without compromising on quality. The pressure was high, but by staying calm, organised, and solution-focused, I was able to bring all the moving parts together to deliver a seamless event on time.
